Silverbacks.

The idea

Recruiters and head-hunters scour the world for talent. Meanwhile, there's a resource close to home that most businesses overlook: senior people who've already led, built, and succeeded - and who aren't remotely ready to stop.

The name comes from the animal world's original silverback - not always the physically strongest of the troop, but always the wisest, using decades of experience to guide and protect the group. Our Silverbacks are the same: men and women who led businesses and functions at the highest level, now working on their own terms, project by project, without ego and without the need to prove anything.

Who they are

  • Senior leadership or ownership experience in their field
  • High work ethic and genuine ambition - this isn't a retirement hobby
  • A talent for mentoring, consulting, and hands-on project delivery
  • Complementary expertise - sector, geography, or discipline - to the existing network
  • Access to new contacts and networks that make things happen
